Whu choose Beauty Point?Due to recent trends in the beauty industry, the world of Permanent Makeup has become increasingly popular. Therefore it is often difficult to know which technician to choose. The industry is constantly developing and therefore there is a number of PMUAs practicing that do not have up to date techniques, licensing for their premises or are trained by a well-established beauty school. I have had the highest level of one-to-one training, which is up to date for the current year (2018), given by leading European semi-permanent specialist Zaneta Stanislawska and her training school, Broadway Beauty. I also have an ongoing relationship with Broadway Beauty, which gives me access to a network of trainers that have had over 15 years experience in semi-permanent makeup. If you would like more information on my qualifications, license or insurance, please feel free to email me for more information.

How long does it last?It is long lasting makeup that stays on for roughly a year and half to two years. It depends on your skin, its maintenance and your life style.
-
How often do I need to do a touch up?To maintain bold color, a touch up is recommended annually or one in two years.
-
How long does the procedure take? The procedure takes an 1.5 hours to 2 hours.
-
Is the procedure painful?Having permanent or tattooed makeup applied is not as painful as having a regular tattoo; some people have described the sensation as similar to having their eyebrows plucked. We use local anesthetic to numb the area before the procedure and also during it.
-
What is the recovery time? There is no downtime, however the skin might be reddish for few hours after the procedure. The color directly after the process is about 10-40% darker then the final result. During the healing period the brow will take about one week to fully heal. After-care directions should be followed accurately.
-
Do I still need to wax my eyebrow area after the permanent makeup procedure? We will take care of the whole eyebrow area during the visit, including the hairs that are outside the line if there are any. As time passes you will have to keep the regular maintenance around the eyebrows as you were doing so far, for example waxing, plucking etc.
